Here's a little about Willamina Christian Church.

Established in 1940, WCC is an independent church aligned with other independent Christian Churches and Churches of Christ. Our heritage is the Restoration Movement, an effort begun in the 19th century by various men who desired to see the church return to its Biblical description and mission.

  • We strive toward the goal of seeing all believers in Jesus Christ living in the unity for which Jesus prayed for on the night of His betrayal (John 17:20-24).
  • We believe this unity can only be found as we make the Bible, the inspired Word of God (II Timothy 3:16), our authority and source of all we believe.
  • We do not believe we are the only Christians, but Christians only.

As a Church we exist for one reason: to fulfill the commission given to the apostles in Matthew 28:18-20.
Communion/Lord's Supper is observed weekly during our service. All baptized believers are invited to partake.
Our Worship services are multi-generational and tend to feature more contemporary music with the older hymns mixed in. The entire family begins the day together in the Worship Center for the music portion of the service with children invited to join a children-specific lesson time during the sermon.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call the church office, Tuesday through Friday, at (503) 876-2097
